2019 Sitka Fanatic System and Fanatic Pack
We were at the Great American Outdoor Show (NRA GAOS) this past weekend and man was it awesome. I grew up attending this show with my Grandfather, father, and the rest of our hunting family and it has been incredible to see it transform and grow over the years. The show is held at the PA Farm Show Complex and features nine halls filled with outfitters, vendors, industry celebrities, live fishing demonstrations, 3D and sport archery competitions, and of course food. Unfortunately for us we only had a day to spare and were barely able to scratch the surface of what...
SEVR Broadheads Review
Whenever a new broad head hits the market our first reaction is always “we’ll see…”. But when I saw the first advertisements for SEVR broadheads go live on social media in early 2018 I got hyped quick. Titanium ferule, practice mode, replaceable rear deploying lock-and-pivot blades, 2.1 inch cutting diameter, custom quantities, and direct to consumer sales model are all things we love. I ordered a few heads as soon as they became available and upon arrival it was clear that they were not some gimmick but real deal contenders. This is one of the first reviews I wrote for...

2019 Hoyt Helix - The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

That and the fact the Helix is only offered in 30” axle-to-axle standard or 34”axle-to-axle Ultra models. Hoyt decided to limit their turbo offering to the RX-3 line for 2019. Helix 342 FPS (ATA) 30½" Axle-to-Axle 6" Brace Height 4.3 lbs RX-3 342 FPS (ATA) 30½" Axle-to-Axle...
2019 PSE Evoke 31 First Impressions
Right off the bat I will admit I have never been drawn to PSE bows. I can’t explain it but they just have never held any sort of allure for me. I know they have been making fast, accurate, and all around quality bows for quite some time I just never shot with anyone who was a die-hard PSE shooter. But after trying last year’s 2018 Evolve and now the 2019 Evoke, I now wonder if maybe I just need to expand the variety of shooters I hang with.
