KUIU Peloton 240 Full Zip Review
For those unfamiliar with KUIU clothing and their naming conventions, Peloton is KUIU's synthetic line of Toray fleece fabrics and 240 represents the weight of material. At present KUIU offers their Peloton line in either 97, 130, 200, or 240 with 97 being the lightest and 240 the heaviest. Each weight retains their own unique characteristics and features. Now this is not your typical full zip hoodie and at a price of $159 depending on your color choice this is probably going to be the most expensive hoodie you own but having worn this piece all season and in a variety...
2019 Mathews Vertix First Impressions
I’m going to Tarantino this review a bit by starting from my overall impressions and then dive deeper into what lead me to these conclusions. All of which are based on nothing more than dozens and dozens of blank bail shots conducted over more than an hour. So realize this review is strictly representative of my first impressions during this testing and is in no way a comprehensive review (though one will be coming…). To the untrained eye the Vertix is simply a Triax with a growth spurt. Like its 28” predecessor the Vertix features the same Crosscentric cams, aluminum...
2019 Hoyt RX-3 First Look Review
Of all the 2019 bows that have dropped so far the Hoyt RX-3 has been by far been the most intriguing. Now that is not to nock (pun intended) any of the other brands but most of new flagship bows that came out thus far represent slightly enhanced or simply different axle to axle additions to their 2018 line ups. So if you liked the 2018 Prime’s, PSE’s, or Bow-tech’s, odds are you will like their 2019 models too. To be clear, those are all great bows and I am sure the 2019 models will likewise be equally great if...
The Nock On Release Family
I’m very open about the fact that I love virtually every product John Dudley puts out. Even when I’ve been skeptical about the application of some products I typically find their value soon after trying them. Dudley’s releases are his signature product and I own the full set. The first question I almost always get is “which one is your favorite?” and I honestly can’t say. Each release has a different method of operation and through their distinct mechanisms reveal different shortcomings and breakdowns in one’s form. I owe each of these releases with improving different aspects of my shot...
Rattler Grips Review
These grips were probably my most anticipated addition to my bow this season. I’m currently shooting a 2017 Hoyt Pro Defiant which I refuse to trade in for a newer model. With new bows being released every year it’s easy to feel a lot of pressure to “upgrade”. Personally I am still in love with the look of the Pro Defiant’s aggressive riser design and the consistent and smooth draw cycle of the DFX cams. So rather than pick up a new model I supped up my Pro Defiant with 80# limbs, new strings and cables, and some bad ass...
